We are pleased to announce a major service release for Opus bringing it to v6.3. There is no patch available at present but we will be sending out download links for a full update via email.

This version fixes all known issues with Vista including cursors and browsers.

We have rewritten the Flash player code to get round the fact that Quicktime no longer supports Flash. Flash playback now uses the Flash payer itself which means this needs to be installed on your system and anyone reveiwing your publication. Given the wide distribution of the Flash player this is a major improvement over the Quicktime solution anyway.

The Cancel button on the Plexus plugin download dialog now works.

The problem wth the roll up dialogs freezing the program is now fixed.

Log files created by the Report actions can now be encrypted.

There are some other minor tweaks and improvements but those are the headlines. We recommend all users upgrade which is why we are emailing everyone with a link. If you haven't received yours by the beginning of next week please contact sales@digitalworkshop.com.

Thanks for your continuing support - hopefully you will continue to find Opus gives you the cost-effective edge in these troubled times.

Paul Harris

Please note that this release has now been suspended so we can incorporate the fix for Adobe Flash Player 10. We will recommence as soon as possible.

Anyone who needs the new version urgently can email sales for 6.3 and then install the zip provided in Dave's message.
