For a while, users have requested an ability to import from, or at least embed, PowerPoint files.

Experienced users have often stated that this is unnecessary as Opus is far better at animations than PowerPoint.
At the same time many users have had problems with bullet points.

While I am not sure of the legalities, with OpenOffice being an open source programme (source code freely available), that can already import PowerPoint files, it should be easier for Opus to do either or both of these with Impact files.

This would make life a lot easier to make Opus programmes from our existing PowerPoint presentations.

Just an alternative thought...
