Utilising a vector shape as a mask - such as is possible in flash.

This would be a very useful feature.

Alpha blend masks would be even better!

Go to Effects

Blend

Select custom from the bottom of the list and you can add your own Alpha Blend images

You can even add animated gif files if you want animated effects.
