The ability to exit from an Opus screensaver with a particular key (escape key will do) would be useful.
This functionality is available in swf wrapping applications where you can use the escape key,
making interactive screensavers possible as mouse clicks, mouse dragging and key presses do not make the screensaver exit.

Alternatively, if someone knows a workaround, or I've missed something
obvious, I would appreciate knowing what it is.

cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,

The workaround I use is I get a small Screensaver pub to launch an ordinary standalone pub.

The small screensaver (in a Window) can be even 0 x 0 pixels with just the launch action on the page. I use the checkbox option: "Close this pub once program loaded" on the screensaver action. (or add a timer for it to exit to make sure it is no longer active)

Hope this helps. :-)
