The ability to record sound would be a great feature. I produce training materials for trainers to use with groups. One product I produced was a phone skills library with 450 voice clips, selected by the Trainer. To be able to pick up responses to these would be wonderful.....

I too would like sound recording.

This would be great, especially if you could specify a file name through variables for each sound recording which is saved, and where it is saved too.

MP3 encoding would be needed though.

I have been asking for a sound recording feature for years, literally, ever since Illuminatus days. I teach English and the ability for student to record themselves speak would be a great asset.

One would imagine that it would be relatively easy to incorporate the Windows microphone program within Opus.

I would AGREE with the above, a patch or update would be all that would be necessery... I have looked at one of the major competitors and this can be enabled on that platform so why not us!!

Can any of the techs that read this forum please reply as to if this is possible or indeed if there is a work around that can be used to enable this to be done as it is much wanted ;)

TIA

I teach English, and sometimes make e-quizes for students to sit to during the course. I'd find it very beneficial in case there were such a feature.

Sound recording is a must, is it possibe to record to memory and playback? as some machines do not allow saving to the HD...

For me the max recording time would be 8 secs is this too much to leave in mem at say 22Hz
