hi all,

i sometimes have hundreds of variables when i create a large publication and it is often difficult to keep track of what each var is for and it's purpose, even though i name them accordingly. in the variables properties would it be possible to order them by Name, Initial Value or System.

also i'd like the possibility of adding a reference note to each variable which would allow you type in an explanation or note for each var. this would be great so you can check at a glance what each var is for what. this note wouldn't do anything except this.

also could there be a debug option which would display all the variables and their value publication on preview. this would be handy for debugging a publication.

Luke --

When I'm creating a Page with Variables, and I want to see their value, I create a Text Object and do a Right Mouse click, then I add the Variable I want. For example it would look like this:

Variable_100 = <Variable_100>
Variable_200 = <Variable_200>

When the Pub is working properly, I tick "Initially Hidden" on the test Text Object so it doesn't appear, but it's still there for future testing.
