Here's a different type of wish...

I wish that the regular contributors to this forum are rewarded. This could be in the form of free or discounted upgrades, etc.

I'm not referring to people like me that just post questions, but those like Paul, Mackavi, Sandyn, DemoFred and others that make it easier for ignorant users like myself, to use Opus more effectively. (Please forgive me if I have not mentioned you, but Paul, Mackavi and Sandyn have replied to my calls for help, and while DemoFred has not helped me directly, his contribution to this forum is obvious.)

Besides the power of Opus itself, these are a major part of DW's sales force.

Depending on their competence, an MVP or a "Senior Contributor" status could even be awarded to the deserved.

This could also provide an incentive to many of the experts in Opus to contribute more to the forum.

Just an idea/wish.... 8)

Regards

Neil

Neil --

Thank you very much!!! Yes, we will be rewarded in Heaven. I remember when I first started using Illuminatus years ago. I had all kinds of questions, and it was amazing how patient the people were when they helped me. Then one day, I knew the answer to someone's question, so I posted it.

I've found, the more I use OPUS or any other software program, the better I get at figuring out how you do things. I mentioned previously that I now "think in OPUS." It's like when you learn to ride a bike or learn to type (with both hands/not looking at the keys), you don't have to "think" how to do things; they just come to you.

OPUS is quite logical and intuitive once you learn the basics. I still marvel at new users, with one or two postings, who want to try to build something extremely complicated, which actually should be done using a programming language, then they get "mad" that OPUS doesn't have a single button which would do everything they are imagining for the first time...

Sorry, I got off the purpose of my reply, which again is to thank you for your very kind compliment. That will keep me going for at least another couple of months.
