I have been asked by a customer to add a facility to allow the monitor to be switched to standby at a pre-determined time, then back on at another time.
There is no way of doing this directly in Opus.
With increasing awareness of wasting power, it would be a handy capability to add.

I am trying to figure out how to do it using User32.dll, (PostMessageA) but there is a complete lack of documentation on the 734 exported functions in this DLL. It's the same one used for windows message boxes, which work well in Opus, so it is possible.

There are 3rd party progs, but I prefer not to distribute another application.

Sandy
