HTML tags when reading text from files, database or web.

I use databases and text files to read data into my publication. I would be nice if there was an option to include html format tags like <i><u><b> so the text can appear as wanted.

Currently this is not possible and formating can only occur where text is hard-coded into a publication.

Tags like this would enable dynamic text handling on text read from sources. Ideally this would be an option which is can be enabled at time of reading text or pulling from database.

Opus does accept formatted files in the form of RTF documents. However, if you wanted to format text from other sources, you need to use scripting to and use the setselection commands.

indeed this is possible, but it won't doesn't offer any flexibility. With tags used in text or database it would be way more flexible.
