Hi,

I like publication in Windows instead of full screen sometimes but would like an option to maintain aspect ratio with resizable window.

For an example open a QuickTime movie and use the resize window anchor, so how it keeps the aspect ratio the same for the video. Same for Opus publications would be great.

There is a maintain aspect ratio option on the chapter resize properties.

Or do you mean you want the window to remain locked to the aspect ratio and not show the background areas if the ratio is wrong?

Yeap that's exactly what I mean Duncan, window remain locked to ratio when resized.

Playing a movie in QuickTime player is the best example I can think of for this.

In relation to the background color, although a different point to above. Would it be possible to have a different background colour, pattern or image for each chapter. Currently it is publication wide only.

Other areas I would like improved upon in the Window would be the ability to add variables for the Location of the Window, Across and Down. This would enable me to design an app and position the window easily through code.

The same is true for Resizing, being able to set Max, Min sizes with variables, so in script could calculate endusers screensize and best judge what resolution to scale up to, or allow user to disable scaling.

Window title too could be a variable so could set it depending on page displayed via script.

And as mentioned in previous post, set background color for each chapter independently from the publication.
