When one is working with zoom animations, it's often very difficult to reconcile the exact final position of the item being zoomed (particularly in the case of text).

Quite often, I need to place additional related articles on the screen in direct relationship to those which have been zoomed.

A quick (and useful) way of doing this would be to have an onion skin display available, so that representations of the different steps through the zoom may be seen, and other objects placed accordingly.

It would probably require some sort of mini-timeline for each animation.

Is that worth considering, or does a similar utility already exist which I may have missed?
