Does swipe = flick? If so count me in and for long tap as well.

When you say multitouch - do you mean more than two fingers?

I have a few touch screen setups and most only use two fingers. I have a wacom tablet, and although it says multitouch it isn't true or native.

I would be happy with those mentioned, but if there was a way to count the fingers too that would be helpful.

One finger swipe, two finger swipe - and the direction of the swipe could mean different things.

Multi-touch options, I think you should give us the collected data and allow us to do what we want via scripting, instead of hard coding in pinch, swipe etc.

So all we need is touch count number, and x,y.

I think there is a much-greater opportunity here.

What I would like to see is a well thought-out mapping of gestures and multi-touch inputs to Opus standard Triggers & Actions. I think you could set these up under "2nd Gen" Triggers or such. I think we could use something visual. Think of the way we can choose Transitions. There are easy to recognize icons and labels, organized by category. A similar approach could be used to choose the variations of primary multi-touch input ( primary being: 2 finger spread, 2 finger pinch, 2 finger rotate, etc. -- if there are options, specify or configure them via the icons and special settings. Might need to build-in some adjustable 'sensitivity' settings or timing windows, if that were possible. ).

Now I would still need to have direct Opusscript commands, directly accessed and not having to set-up event-handlers. Something like OnGesture("2F Pinch"). Sure collect and expose touchpoint data. Go even further and automatically correlate it to the x,y diagonal coordinates of the object using the trigger.

I have a nagging question, not so much to be 'answered' but revealed in due time: what target platforms apply here?

Has there been any update on this progress of multi-touch support?
