I have a publication which runs a video file (WMV format) on each page. I'd like to add a slider for the video so users can move forwards or backwards through it as they would in Media Player and so on. If the slider also had a timer indicating the playback position that would be a bonus. I know from having serached the board that similar things have been asked before, and one reply pointed to use of the 'linear slider' component from the Basics gallery. But I can't for the life of me see how to tie this to the video on the page or make it control the video in the way I want it to. Can anyone tell me if what I want is possible and if so what to do? I'm running Opus Creator 6 under Vista. Niall. |

The slider control won't work in Creator because it requires scripting. It can be done and effectively, but probably not without access to script commands. Mack |
