Does anyone know a way of making a pen appear to write on the screen? So for example a pen appears and draws a circle around something already on the screen.

Is there a way to make an object appear to explode?

To make the pen work - draw a path and then add and image of the pen ( a photo object would work great) and tell it to follow the path on show.

As for an explosion - the should be an example under the quickAnim tab - add a decent sound effect and this works well. I used it for our ta-balls game

Thanks for your ideas the explosion works well. With the pen drawing is it possible to have the line appear as the pen moves?? So it looks like it is actualy drawing??

Use the new V6 drawing tools. Get the position of the pen on the path every 100th second and add a new point for the drawing connecting the dots as you go.

I vaguely remember that this has been discussed before in the Opus section above.
