Hi all, I have to prepare some video presentations (AVI) in full HD resolution (1920 x 1080). So, I created a new publication selecting the "Opus Video Creator" type with a page size "1920 x 1080 Widescreen Desktop" from the drop-down menu in the Chapter properties. Then I prepared some pages (text and images with simple actions) and tried to publish to a video file. And here is the issue: when I try to set the width and height size they can't be more than 1600 x 1200 !! Is that normal? Is this the maxium size Opus can export a video? I tried on several machines (Windows 7 - 32/64 bit, Windows XP SP3) and always the same problem (even on a machine with a full HD graphic card and monitor). Many thanks in advance for any kind help. Hi Simone I'm not sure this works, but try setting your screen size via the publication properties menu, rather than the chapter properties menu. Select Display in window, custom size and insert 1920 by 1080 Unselect the menu bar, etc. Then click apply Then set your chapter menu as you have been doing Build in your resources, text, video etc on a couple of test pages (to see whether this idea works) Publish and test Report back here afterwards I'd have a play here but I don't have the resources so it's over to you to try this idea out. Hi Graham, thank you very much for your reply. I tried to follow your indications but I've got the same result: the maximum size of the video I can publish is 1600 x 1200. Instead, if I set the publication type to "Opus Creator" (publishing as an application.exe), I can export it at the proper size: 1920 x 1080. Kind regards, Simone |

Hi Graham, I'm sorry to come back with the question, but my issue is still pending. I would like to export a full-HD video (avi, mp4, etc.) and NOT an opus presentation (filename.exe). Even I can set both publication and chapter size to 1920 x 1080 (full-HD), when I export it to VIDEO the maximum size is 1600 x 1200. Thanks. Simone |

I would imagine that the video size limits are set within the Creator coding to prevent people from entering wildly wrong numbers. As the video feature was introduced some time ago it probably hasn't been updated to accommodate new publishing sizes. You might be better off contacting DW support via the help menu in Creator and explaining the problem. If it's a simple tweak, they might be willing to update the values for the next service release. Dear Mack, thank you for your reply. I wont believe that. At least they could set the same limit size of the publication to export the final video. However, don't you think that it sounds strange that in the "video creator mode" I can set the chapter at a very big size (4096 x 2560) but they do not allow to export more than 1600 x 1200 ?
