I have recently purchased a new computer running on windows 8.1 I have tried to load the application but it advises that DWFC42.DLL is missing from my computer. Does Creator 9 work on windows 8? |

Hi Paffy, I don't have Creator but Opus Pro 9 works fine on 8.1 and they are basically variations of the same program so I'd expect both to work. A couple of ideas: 1. Did you install as admin? And or run as admin? 2. Do you an Antivirus / security suite running? Can you run it with this turned off? (best to unplug the internet). Also does your security software provide any other form of monitoring - IE mine will sandbox applications and this can cause problems. 3. What edition of Window 8.1 are you running? I'd also be inclined to email DW support as they might already know the answer. Regards, Mack |
