I have been trying to update my understanding of the new landscape. Up to this point I thought I would just be developing full Pubs and execs for PCs. Now I am not so sure, so trying to assess where interactive modules fit-in with the new Mobile devices.

I came across the site below, offers a perspective and slides which seems like it would be really useful.
Does it make sense to take this type of discussion/thread elsewhere? Or... where else do recommend I look to get started? Or PM me.

Since this seems to be the future I am also interested in mobile development.

I think there are two main problems at the moment: 1. To create a mobile application and 2. to offer it in the respective app-stores.
Especially the apple app-store puts a lot of obstacles in the way of developers.

One of these is - as far as I know - that there is currently no development tool for store-compatible apps that does not need to run on an apple OS itself.

So if one wants to develop apps for iPhone or iPad he or she must own an apple computer at least.
