As this does not directly have anything to do with OPUS I'm posting it here and maybe someone can help .

What do I have to put into the autorun.inf file so that it displays directly the contents of the CD drive in the Windows Explorer ?

I've tried out:

open=explorer.exe

but this option only opens Windows explorer in the My Documents view , but does not change to the contents of the CD drive

I don;t think this is possible - the AutoRun handler isn't very "clever" and you would have no idea of the CD drive letter.

You could create a simple Opus publication that just launches an explorer view of the SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR and exits, then launch that from your autorun.inf

I'll probably try out Duncan's idea of creating a small Opus IMP with the Launch action.

For a cursory glance it looks like that "open" program would do the job for you in less time - just stick
in your autorun.inf and put the open.exe in the same folder. Same effect as my suggestion but with less effort!

Why do it the harder way when there's an easier one .
Not that it wouldn't work with Opus , but this is even simpler.
