Can these two Opuses coexist peacefully and without conflict on the same PC? Do problems crop up, say, after a few weeks?

I ask because I want to ensure that I have not disurbed the delicate ecological balance of my Registry with this dual installation.

Also -- regarding video codecs, here's a question so basic it's almost dopey:
Does anyone have information regarding whether the installation of Windows Media Player 10 (and its attendant updated codec[s?]) conflicts with either of the above Opus versions? How about Media Player 9?

I have Opus 2.8 and Opus 4.3 XE AND Windows Media Player 10 coexisting on the same machine(s) - no issues here.

Haven't dared put XP SP2 on yet, though.....

Also, with the 2 Opus versions installed and having publications on disk in both formats, I'm still humming and ha-ing about which version to tell Windows File Associations is my default!

All Versions of Opus and Illuminatus are happy to share the same PC. In support we have all our machines running ILM3,ILM4 ILM 2000 (2.81) and 04. We also run all the flavors Standard, Presenter, Pro and Pro XE. In some cases we also have the Evaluation and beta copies. The only time the registry is shared is if you have installed two copies of the same version in different locations on the hard disk.

There should be no conflicts with Media Player they are totally separate programs.
