PC Answers (PCA 172 June 2007) have 'Sib Icon Studio' on their cover disk. This allows you to create icons by drawing, or by importing images---which is very handy.
It says in the magazine it's the full version and when you try to register on-line as you often have to do with these free programs, there was no reg code in the magizine---I assumed it must be a 30 day trial, since it was looking for money to register, however I noticed on the 'about' window, it says 'Licensed to:for future publishing readers'----So I think it's a pre registered version.
It's a fantastic program---well worth the price of the magazine. I am assuming it will keep working after 30 days
It gives you the option to create an icon from scratch in various sizes, create one from an image, extract all icons from your PC and find all icons in a folder.
I've been playing with the program, creating graphical icons for my folders . It's one of the best programs I've seen of this type.
