Hi

I am thinking of using an executable dependent on having NET.Framework installed on the end-user's machine. The .exe would be included in the setup package with an Opus pub that would call it via LaunchFile(), plus parameters.

My understanding is that for the executable dependent on NET.Framework to function, it will require NET.Framework to be installed on the end-user's computer. This, I've heard, is already available on XP and Vista.

Has anyone had experience with this? Perhaps, they can comment on NET.Framework's availability, need to be most recent version, etc., plus any drawbacks they have found in using an essential pub component that is dependent on its availability.

Kind Regards,
