Hi,

I am not sure which of you write training programmes based on unit standards.

I do know that many countries are starting to adopt unit standards for outcome based training.

If you currently use unit standard based training, you might be interested in looking at the South African website for Unit Standards and Unit Standard based Qualifications.

The link to this site is www.saqa.org.za The site has a great search facility, which should find unit standards in a number of the many topics that you may be interested in.

When you get to the website, click on the image on the right side of the page, that says Qualification & Unit Standards (icon looks like a scroll).

If you want to know more about training Unit Standards, let me know your e-mail address and I will send you an explanation as to how these work in South Africa. (The writing of these differs slightly from those of other countries, but most of the principles remain the same.)

All Qualifications and Unit Standards on the website are Copyright but there is no charge or login required to view/save these.

Regards

Neil
