It's a great 'feature' the the forum engine updates old posts with one's revised Profile. Except that it is 'misleading'.
I've noticed when reading some older posts that information about what system and configuration WAS USED is lost.
I'd suggest Moderator change settings if possible to preserve info as posted. (downside is contact info would be out of date, but okay on newer posts). As a workaround, I'll try to remember on my posts... to add in Sys/Config info within the problem statement.
Other thoughts?
