Opus: Opus Pro v9.75
OS: Windows 10.?
System: HP xw660 Server 32GB RAM, Toshiba Satellite Laptop
Christmas is coming and wallets are a bit thin this year, so will we be able to get Opus 7 in time for the family to club together and buy it as a present?

Yours hopefully,

Paul

Look forward to it.

None, I would just like that Opus 7 comes out soon and that it works great with the new Windows 7.

Whilst it is true that we would probably have waited for the launch of Windows v7 for coincidence of compatibility, I'm determined this release will be on a par with the legendary Illuminatus 4 and so the schedule for Opus is being dictated by feedback from the users who are working with it. We are spending a lot of time, in particular, getting the new SCORM support right and tested in real LMS.

In addition we've just made some changes in response to something mackavi asked and they got out of hand. And I've just broken the kerning editor.

So it will be a while yet ...but our banks and our families certainly hope it will be out before Christmas :-) Be assured you'll hear it here first.

Always glad to support Digital Workshop. I agree its fabulous news that Opus 7 could be out by Christmas. Fantastic work ~ er I'm sure you'll get the kerning editor fixed in time for Santa to collect the program!

Very best wishes

Paul

Opus: All between ver Pro XE 4.5 and Ver 9.62
OS: Windows XP Pro SP3
System: Intel Core2 Duo 2.67Ghz, Matrox Millennium G550 dual head graphics card
A pre-Christmas Opus 7 release would be great. My employers are keen to get all our courses (going right back to 2005) SCORM 1.2 compliant and onto an LMS, a version of Opus with a tried and tested SCORM compliancy certificate will certainly save me recoding everything into Adobe Captivate 4!

Any update on Opus 7, sneak peak or early bird upgrade on the release?

My wife asked me what I would like for Christmas and I suggested that Opus 7 would be a good idea, unfortunately I have heard no recent news so I expect it will be socks and a scarf for me this year, and therefore less business for DW.

Any news?

Only one month to Christmas Eve, how's the progress? Can we expect a early bird beta any time soon?

Should have got evolution subscription Luke, you'd already have a copy ;-)

But yes we'll probably do an early bird upgrade in advance of the full release. Obviously we'll let you all know but we're still getting feedback from key customers and evolution subscribers.

Ditto -- I was also under the impression that the Evolution subscription had been discontinued. I can't see a reference to it on the DW site.
