Following on from a lot of discussions and questions from clients about video formats, we decided to collate various information about which formats work with Opus and have published these as a scribble on our website.
It's in no way definitive, but should hopefully give people an idea about what works and what is possible with additional codecs. We used twenty videos transcoded using both commercial and freeware applications to various common formats - AVI, MPG(1-4), WMV and Flash (both FLV and SWF) and tested for playback and navigation using a clean XP virtual machine.
W7 which offers better default access to contemporary codecs will be added later.
