Has anyone looked into the Intel AppUp app store?

I'm just reading about it now, looks very interesting. I'd imagine you need to develop via the Intel development platform, but has anyone here looked into it?

Along with the Intel AppUp Center, other companies have taken note of the success Apple has with the iOS/Mac appstores. Apples next desktop 'OSX Lion' is expected to take on more features of iOS.
Amazon is planning an Android appstore, similar to the Apple appstore but more controlled than the Google Android market.
Windows 8 is also expected to be appstore capable.

IMO Windows will lose market share to the rapidly increasing tablet market splitting amongst the Windows, Android and Mac operating systems. In the near future making native apps for only one platform will probably not be enough...

I guess that's why HTML5 looks so attactive; although anything working through a browser is quite restricted compared with what a native app can do.

cheers
Paul

I see that Unity3D built apps (http://unity3d.com) are in the Apple Mac Store, which is good see as their apps are built on a player type technology similar to Flash and Opus. Should open the door to third party developer tools.
