I did a board search for about an hour (not all at once).

What I want to do is have this object (Microscope Slide), follow the path to the Right and stop. Then I have an HOTSPOT (Left Click) to open the full picture of the "slide image". But the slide keeps going each time you click (even on the HOT SPOT).

Am I on the wrong path? (No pun intended.

Probably, at that point you may want to Disable that object. I think you have the Hotspot superimposed over the Micro Slide? So it gets clicked (and triggered again)?
If Disabling works, then you can decide when you want to Enable it again -- if you will need to animate it further.
