Death and Taxes. The inevitable.

I've started to 'take stock' and begin chartering a new future. Much of the area's structured business is still unrecovered from two or three successive downturns, and the latest pulse-taking warns of yet more downturning. (I'll leave out the blah, blah, blah).

Anyway, I ran across this website and resource -- mainly it deals with tax issues for the self-employed, with some peripheral topics about individual business structure, the benefit of 'hiring your spouse', etc. Given that many in our community are creative types, independent consultants, sole-proprietors, and such, I think you may find something of use. Albeit this site is U.S. tax centric, but it may give you some thought to adapt to your locale.

I find this one blog/topic particularly insightful: Making Mondays Productive (because you must)

But in general, do a search on the main site for whatever interests you (top left or google by site).

Good cheer.
