A good friend of mine, and a major "brain" when it comes to OPUS is Chris Jones (http://www.graphicsinaction.com). Chris has created and sold to DW some of the code which makes text animate in OPUS. He's written some of the most amazing Script code for projects we have done together.

Chris just told me he is going in for heart surgery at the end of October 2012. I know it would mean a lot to him to get some "shout outs" from the OPUS Board. Keep him in your prayers. Here's his email, in case you want to go directly to him: chris@graphicsinaction.com

Hi Fred,

Thanks for letting us know. And yes, here's a huge shout-out from sunny England. Hope the operation goes well Chris, and that you back on your feet keeping us newbies on our toes here in Opus land:-).

Thoughts and best wishes for a speedy recovery,

Mack

May God be with you and the surgeons, and may you have a speedy and full recovery.

And if I haven't said a huge THANK YOU lately, for all your works, I'm saying it again now.

Chris, your graphics in action site really helped me when I was starting out with Opus. Many thanks for all your help and the very best of luck with your heart surgery. Wishing you a very speedy recovery. :)

I just finished talking by phone with Lacey Jones, Chris' wife. She said the triple bypass heart surgery went fine on October 31. She laughed about having your chest cut open on Halloween. She said the doctors removed Chris' breathing tube, which always makes you feel better. All his vital signs are good/normal, and they are planning on leaving the hospital on Sunday, November 4th. Chris is having his 49th birthday on November 6th. I am sure getting home and sleeping in his own bed will be the best present possible.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts for Chris!!!!!

It has been a handful of months since the op. I sure hope all is well on the Chris Jones front. After all, it is heart day.

Best wishes and continued health. Happy Valentine's Day, Chris.
