We're putting together a list of recommended tools and resources for Opus customers. If anyone has any suggestions of things they find useful can you let us know by posting here or emailing sales.

TIA

Thanks for the reminder on these - we've added them to the list. the others are probably a bit specialist for the broader range of our customers for which the list is intended.

For reference, the current working list is here:

Before IntelliJ IDEA/WebStorm I was using another great advanced free/open source HTML editor called Brackets (www.brackets.io) with live preview and plenty of extensions but still Notepad++ is great for quick editting.

Opus: Evolution
+1 for Adobe Brackets. I'll probably be using this as the editor of choice in our video lessons involving scripts, as it's more suitable for Opus users than Sublime now.

On this note, but off topic, as we now have multiple areas involving scripts in Opus:

1. Opus / JS action objects
2. HTML Object
3. Opus Script object with .ils
4. HTML5 Publishing with header and body editing

Is it now worth considering adding the user's script editor of choice to the Tool Menu > Options > Tools Setup Dialogue and providing an option in some of the areas above to launch the code in said editor?
