Just thought I'd mention something about Opus 05.
This is the most stable version of Opus I have used in
4 years, feels rock solid -- IMHO -- good work DW.

cheers
Paul

Paul --

I couldn't agree with you more. OPUS 5 is rock solid. I have yet to have my first problem with a customer's final Publication. They really did an outstanding job with this version. Videos are great. I've had to set some to Render, and others to On Top for unique situations.

While I'm giving DW the credit, I also think we have seem most people upgrading to Windows XP and getting more powerful computers with better/faster CD-ROM drives -- all of which helps improve the quality and stability of multimedia presentations.

Now, if we can just get the "newbies" from trying to "climb Mt Everest" on their first project ("I've never used OPUS but how can I create script to access the Internet to go against our 10 TB database?")...

I don't think DW gets the apple yet.
They have a bit to go before it's classed "rock solid" IMHO.
A number bugs yet to be stamped on, both in runtime as well as designtime.
Some bugs have been there for a number of years, multiple hyperlinks for instance. Scripting with audio is another.
I guess there'll get around to it when their good and ready.
