Dear all,

I am thinking of upgrading to version 6 of Opus.
Between other things, an important feature that I am looking for is the ability to PING.
I have made a network hosts/computers monitoring application which uses PING. I made it with another software similar to Opus, but it would be great if I could do this with Opus.

The only workaround for previous versions would be to invoke the DOS ping from within Opus by launching a command.

Anyone knows a better way to do this in version 6?

Hi Deniis,

There are several methods that are avialable using Opus. One would be to use a DLL - there are bound to be some out there designed for this purpose or alternatively, if you've access to a webserver a PHP call from Opus should be possible.
