Hi eomc40

Nice to hear from you! Thanks for your suggestions about the temp directory.

I've experimented, without success, using a variety of ways to include the DLL in the published ILM file and load it when needed. I even renamed it "foo.txt" to make it an acceptable file type for adding resources in the pub properties. I don't think the problem is the file's inclusion in the ILM, although I can't "see" inside to check if it's actually there. I think the problem is that either (1) the pathname to load it is incorrect (not sure what to use, since nothing including script alias has worked), or (2) it is a Win32 file type that needs to be in a different location like the DLL location in WINSYS. For whatever reason, it won't work.

I have discovered a very useful utility EnigmaProtector (http://enigmaprotector.com/en/home.html), which, with a tweak by its developer, can successfully create the Opus EXE and the DLL in a single EXE. And, the DLL does not get written to the disk. It seems the best option, plus EnigmaProtector has some other nice features.

Since DW has featured embedding for video files, a wishlist item may be to add embedding for DLL's (plus adding the ability to use and embed ActiveX).

Kind Regards,
