Hello dear Opus friends,
One of my customers asked me if it is possible to make an application that automaticly connects with an ftp server or adress and download the latest version of audiofiles we make for him.
Now he's doing it manual but it would be very nice if it can be automated. (is that propper english...? :? )

Kind regards,

Yes - use wget with Opus' command line functions.

Usage is mentioned in this thread.

viewtopic.php?t=942&highlight=wget

There are other similar tools around like cURL but wget will be the easiest to use.
You can get the wget windows binaries from

Here's a simple example.
It downloads the file "wget-latest.tar.gz" from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/wget/
and puts it in the directory you preview the pub in.
The 3 DLL's are required to be in the same folder as wget.exe.

cheers
Paul
