Hi

I have a text field displaying System Time and System Date variables, I'd like System Time to stop changing when an animation stops, but continue to appear on the screen.

I don't usually touch scripting, hence have drawn a blank. Although I'm sure there some code that will achieve the effect.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Peter

Now using Opus 5.14, signature will be updated...

Hi Peter,

I think that this can be done without scripting. I've attached a sample IMP file. But, I'm using Opus Pro v7, so I'm not sure if you can open this IMP in an earlier Opus version.

Not sure which time variables you wanted to use, so I picked an example. You can substitute other system variables.

HTH

Kind Regards,

System Time

The key is system. It's calling the computer's clock (windows system tray). Stopping this clock, even if it was possible, is not a good idea especially on networked systems.

As Stephen's example points out, you'd need to call the system time and pass it to an alternative variable which can be controlled by the animation.

Regards,

Mack
