If I want to use a docview with a variable in Windows7 or Vista I get a problem reading the file (file won't start up).

Use docview var <sourceFile1> set sourceFile1 to SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR+'AV.pdf'
Won't work here, someone have a suggestion how to fix?

Did also the following:

sourceFile1 = SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR+'AV.pdf'
reset page or go to the page where sourceFile1 is situated (did also a reload function)

When loading the link SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR+'AV.pdf' under properties in the variables tab it will work fine...mmhh
Thanks in advance

You might try making DocView object initially hidden, then once your variable is set Show the object.
If that works, you can play with other means to show/hide or refresh/navigateto.
