Is there a way to 'flush' (stop) a series of script/actions that have already commenced (HTML5/APK)?

See attached Map Reading Pub: http://www.dzsolutions.co.uk/uploads/LCMRAhtml5/LCMRA.htm
If you launch a tutorial, this triggers a series of scripts/actions which execute over a period of time. However, if you use the "Return to Menu" button (top LHS), while the tutorial is running, the tutorial code continues to run (as evidenced by visual artefacts appearing on the menu page).

For info, virtually all objects & some common scripts are on a master page. The tutorials & main app pages mainly only run a sequence of commands to provide the required 'visuals'. The Welcome & Menu pages are independent (no use of the master).

Hope this makes sense....

PS. If you spot any other howlers feel free to depress me further.......

For starters your Opus Pro version is out of date - before looking any further grab the latest version from the downloads.

As for howlers, you need a profile - people including me tend not to answer questions without profiles (login - then top right).

I haven't tried it in Opus but in other projects I'm using a global variable which is checked during loops (between animations) and if the variable is changed I quit the action (stop animations).

Upgraded to 9.3 (no change to the situation).
I'm not sure which aspects of my profile you would wish to see included, beyond those that have been in place for a number of years now.

Thanks - as a workround I had also considered your approach. Indeed I may need to insert break points to allow the user to "Continue" at their own pace, rather than my pre-determined continuous timeline. However, I was hoping to get an answer to the current scenario - if only for my own education and so that in the future I can design out this 'feature' from the outset.

To close this thread off:

I went with an alternative design solution, by moving the 'Return to Menu' button off-screen once the 'Begin Button' had been pressed, thus removing the ability of the user to interrupt the running tutorial. At the end of the tutorial, the 'Return to Menu' button is returned to its original location.

Glen (and others) --

Look at the left side of each post, where the User name is. Under each User name is a brief Profile which tells us where you are (great when people are in different parts of the world/time zones), and information like which version of Opus you're using, your OS(operating system), computer hardware, etc. that helps when someone is trying to give you suggestions.

You create your Profile by first going to the top right side if this Forum. Click "User Control Panel." On the screen which comes up, on the left side, click "Profile." Answer the questions and the Forum will add those answers to all your past and future posts.

I hope that helps.

Done.

Apologies in public. Having re-read my post above it reads somewhat 'pointed', which was not the intention.
