I'm sure that Opus is capable of all sorts of things through script. I just have script blindness. I tried flash actionscript but it's too much like algebra - RUN AWAY!

I was wondering what sorts of things Opus users have made using scripts...

Has anybody made any faux 3D?

I found some information at www.kirupa.com on 3d scripting - but it's all over my head... How simple (or not) for a code junky would it be to get some of these amazing effects out of Opus?

Thank you for your enquiry.

It is possible to create pseudo-3D effects in OpusScript, using similar techniques to the ActionScript language in Macromedia Flash. In order to do this, you need to create a fake 'z-plane' which simply controls the scale of the objects in the publication.

Please see the attached publication for a demonstration of objects moving in 3D space with camera control via the mouse. In fact, you'll probably recognise the effect from the same www.kirupa.com site mentioned in your post.
