We are creating kiosk type of pc's with opus to show Video.
The pc's will accept video from the users, hence multiple formats must be accepted. The pc's are pre-installed, so we have full access to install whatever we want.
My problem : I had some problems with video in opus. It only seems to accept the older types (avi / mpeg1), unless we installed a codec pack on the pc.
My question : Who knows a way to set up a pc to accept a wide range of common used video codecs. I rather have a solution which cleanly installs needed codecs ( only need to be the decoding codecs). I'd rather not use a free codec pack. I'd like to know what i need, and what will be installed.
Who has some information for me? Thanks !
Remy.
