I can copy the contents of a frame to the windows clipboard, but is it possible to save the contents, in this case an image, as a file to the HDD?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you make the frame image refer to an external JPG file in a subfolder of your publication folder, via a variable, then you could use the Browse Directory and Copy File actions to allow the user to copy the original file to whatever location they chose.

Hi Duncan

Thanks for your reply. I have looked at the method you describe and it leads me to think that I have not explained my problem very well. I have a frame which holds an image consisting of several polygons. These can be colour filled and the result copied to the windows clipboard as a single image to be used (in this case) with "Crazy Talk". Unfortunately, "Crazy Talk" does not allow pasting from the windows clipboard. So, I was looking for a way to export/save from my opus application to the HDD so that the image could be loaded into "Crazy Talk". Am I trying the impossible, or have I misunderstood your advice?

Again, I would be grateful for any help.

Now I understand - no, I'm afraid it is not possible to achieve what you are attempting from within Opus. The only thing I can think of would be to write a small utility that copies the current clipboard contents to a file.

check the following DW link:

I've never tried the program myself that the above page links to.
