Hi All

XP Pro (SP2) - Opus Pro EX - Flash 8

This is what I am trying to achieve:

Using a Flex publication type, I am trying to import an .swf file, add a play button and publish as a flash publication. It publishes and seems to play, but the vid is just blank.

I've tried losts of stuff, but can't get it to work.

Any help?

I had to go all the way down to exporting as Flash 5 before my video would work in Opus. This is a definite drawback and really needs to be remedied at some point. (Like now)

Also make sure your frame rate in your SWF file matches Opus's frame rate.

Thanks for your reply bwpatric, but I still can't get it to work.

How do you find out the Opus frame rate?

Do you have an example you could share?

Many thanks.

Try this one and see if it does anything for you. The Opus frame rate can be found on the General tab when you publish your publication.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks bwpatric, but I can't get it to work.

The swf plays fine on its own, but not in Opus.

I can't even preview it.

Wow, that's really weird. I have published it and run it and it works fine. Maybe you could send me what you've got and I can take a look?

I have Opus Pro XE 5.5.
