I need to scale a full-screen image to a fixed position in one corner of the screen (so that it "flies" to the position on show). I'm having a problem figuring out the method to make this happen (i.e. setting the x and y coordinates in addition to the scale action). Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to do this with a simultaneous action group - synchronise to on-show, follow animation path, scale... you could add a rotate once too if you wish
I'v done this the other way - click on downsized 'icon' image, image zooms to 100% moving to new position while spinning.
