I have been able to create the Access Database which contains 3 text fields and 1 image field.
I tried to use .jpg or .giff photos in Access but had no luck with them being recognised in Access so converted 500 photos to .bmp and are now recognised by Access.
I have connected successfully to Opus and my text fields are showing up in Opus. BUT my image field is not being recognised by Opus as I just don't seem to be able to insert the variable into Opus. I have been right-clicking on the text objects to insert the variable necessary for Opus to recognise these fields, but when I go and do the same thing on an image object to insert the image variable, it does not work and when I go and run the project the text fields are showing up in the running project but none of the images are being displayed. Could some kind person help with details of what I might be doing wrong. I have been asking digitalworkshop for the past two months but have had no reply from them.

Hi Ray,

This question has already been answered - by DW support in a previous forum post.

Images are normally stored as BLOBs and Opus cannot access this binary data. As you are using Access - I'm assuming that this is a local DB and thus the best solution is to include the path name (or file name) in the DB and use this to display the image in Opus.
