 Post subject: function calls
PostPosted: November 23rd, 2004, 6:40 pm
Hi everyone,
Has anyone else had any problems using function calls off of buttons? I have several script function in a script object which is called repeatedly in different ways: onload, onlick on an image, onclick on a button. They all work except for the button which blows up with an internal runtime error. The problem is fixed by inserting the code from the called function in place of the function call. Is this a known bug, and are there any fixes for it?

Thanks in advance
Jason

Can't say I have ever had the problem.
What version of Opus are you using?
Where's the example ?? -- Not many people have the ability to read minds -- and somebody stole my Crystal Ball. :(

Unfortunately, not many people have manners either....I'm not going to post my project because it is currently too big with the audio and pics that go with it as well as the database. If anyone has run into this please let me know, otherwise skip it.

Jason -- a sense of humour helps occasionally to get a reasonable discussion going around here -- good luck with your problem -- and any future ones.

Hey Julio
Chill out mate!
Usually we are a big happy family here and we appreciate a bit of sense of humour and fun. Do not take it the wrong way!

Jason

If you have a serious problem, take the time to mock up a 1-2 page example using minimum resources. Make sure the example demonstrates your problem. That's what most of us do.

Post it, take a serious look at your attitude, and I'm sure many of the very knowledgeable people here will help -- but not if you continue as you started.
