Hi

I want to know if this can be done in Opus 4 XE and a few tips please! 8)

I receive a pin number from a secure site every time I log in. It is 4 digits and changes every time for a new logon, in a popup. Is there a way to insert it in a small opus designed window and save it. When I receive a new pin, I copy it and paste it into the publication, which saves it till next time. Would prefer if it can be published as flex.

Any Ideas anyone? I would not know where to start

Cheers
Luke

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

I'm having a little trouble visualising what you are trying to achieve.

Are you simply trying to create a log of all of the PIN numbers you are given?

If so, would it not be easier to just copy and paste this information into a text file? You could even drag the text file down to Windows' Quick Launch bar for easy access whenever you visit the site.

Why would these PIN numbers need to be published to a Flex publication?

Please supply me with more information about how this information needs to be displayed and what purpose the final publication will serve and I will be happy to offer further advice.

Kind regards,

Hi Robin

Thanks for your quick reply. It is actually part of a "package" with some branding, a presentation and a flash simulator. More of a gimmick. Would be interesting to know if it could be done.

Thanks
Luke
