Having problems doing a database search.

The problem is if the data is not found the variable comes up undefined. How is it possible to catch this undefined so I can have an if/else statement.

If search data found do, else do.


How can I do a search and have true / false answer.

What a stupid question, sorry everyone. I should have just used the GetNumberOfRecords() function and if == 0 search not found else search result found.
