I have produced a publication that has dropdown graphics, following a path, which work a dream prior to publishing, but after publishing to flex and displaying within the browser, appears a little stuttery.

I am concerned as this is before it is actually going to run over the web.

Any thoughts or experience in this out there?

You could try modifying the framerate of the Flex output when you publish it.
Click on the Settings button on the Publish dialog and then make sure the General tab is active. You should see a Frame Rate field. Play around with this and see if it improves your animation at all.
