First, let me give complete credit for this solution to CHRIS JONES (http://www.graphicsinaction.com).

I had a complex Pub with many variables. All of a sudden, one of the Text Objects which contained only a Variable said" ILMObject Variable." Chris identified the problem as a naming conflict. I had named an Image Object the same name as the Variable. Apparently that's a NO NO in OPUS. I merely changed the Object's name, and everything returned to normal.

Thought I'd pass this problem/fix along in case you accidently name an Object the same as one of your Variables, then have this strange error message appearing.

Hi Fred
As far as I know, a variable and an object cannot share the same name.
I understand that it is a no no in any programming language, not just Opus.
As you say it is good to know what Opus says when name sharing occurs.
Thanks for the timely reminder
Cheers
Graham
