Having another (these seem to be coming more frequent as I get older) blank. How do you display the contents of an array variable on a page?

Created an array variable - populated via actions - but when I came to
putting a text box with the "insert variable" - didnt have my array available

Any ideas?

To display a single element of an array you need to use the Constant Expression option on the Insert Variable or Expression dialog to access an element. Eg:
