Is anyone having issues with looping in a standalone published version that uses Master pages.

What seems to happen, only periodically & on different lessons... is the following: (Again after published and burned to a CD).

You'll be going thru the lessons (pages), finish the topics then move to the next lesson. When you get to the intro pages (typically the first 2 pages) loop back and forth. I loose buttons that should be on the pages, they flash and then disappear. Extremely weird. Any ideas would be great as to where I should start my investigation...

Thanks!

My reply isn't going to help you, but it might suggest that your problem lies somewhere within your construction of your pub.

I make extensive use of master pages. I don't believe that I am alone in that. I have some very large pubs that use 50+ master pages. I also have pubs that use up to 8 levels of "nesting" of master pages.

I've been working in this way with Opus Pro and Opus Pro XE for almost 7 years, and I have never encountered an issue such as you describe.

Without seeing a copy of the problem, I can only guess that there is some glitch in your pub.

If you can replicate the problem and post an example, someone might be able to help you.

I haven't seen the specific problem that you have, but I have seen really strange things happen in Opus where it seems to go 'unstable' for a while. It is very difficult to pin down something like this, because it's not reproducable, so very difficult to demonstrate. If it keeps happening I usually re-install Opus--Another problem was caused by me using an out of date version of Opus. When I updated, the problem cleared. I know there are many people who never have any problems with Opus stability, but I have had a couple of problems, but it's no worse than other programs.

I found that when I place frames or text_objects on content pages, I sometimes increase their size and do not realize I have covered up elements on the Master. So for some quick pubs, I use the Gallery and pull my Navigation buttons onto each page. (for a better designed pub, I would map out the displayed area and try not to create overlap that hides master buttons).

This may not be source of your problem of course.
